DRAIN JETTING ACROSS ALTRINCHAM & CHESHIRE
CLEAR BLOCKAGES AND CLEAN DRAINS
What is a
Drain Jetting?
Drain jetting uses specialised equipment and water at high pressures to clear and clean drains. It can be used for;
-
Breaking up and removing blockages in a drain
-
The high pressure also means that it can be used for cutting roots that have invaded the drain
-
An effective alternative to chemical methods for removing contaminants on the inside of the drainage pipe such as grease, oils and fats which are the primary culprits for starting a blockage
When should I
Jet My Drains?
Regularly cleaning drains is like maintaining anything in your day to day, it is an effective preventative measure against blocked drains and the associated costs of fixing them.
Typically, we would recommend having drain jetting done twice a year in Spring and Autumn due to falling leaves and high rain fall during these times.

If you are currently having problems with slow clearing drains, then you should contact us at once so that we can identify the problem and provide the best solution.

Can I jet wash the drains myself?
Safety Concerns

We would not recommend this. Firstly the equipment used for drain jetting forces the water out at extremely high pressures, far higher than what would use for washing your car. Whilst safe for use in drains, these high pressures can be harmful to people.

Misdiagnoses
It should also be noted that while some problems with drains can be fixed by yourself, not all problems are obvious or easy to identify leading to incorrect solutions used which in some cases may cause more problems.
